BOLTON Berhad is one of the oldest and most established property developers in Malaysia. BOLTON began its humble beginnings as a property developer, then known as Bolton Properties Limited, on 15 July 1964. On 5 December 1973, BOLTON successfully obtained listing on the Official Lists of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (now known as Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad).

BOLTON made its name with the 262 acres township development in Taman Midah - the pioneer housing estate in Kuala Lumpur and more recently, The Tijani, an elegant 42-acre development within the lush greenery of Kenny Hills. BOLTON recently embarked on its first development in Penang – a condominium development in Tanjung Bungah, providing residents with unparalleled vistas of the sea.
Over the years, BOLTON Group had diversified into various businesses from food franchising and retail to quarrying and liquid bulk terminal. The Group was also involved in financial services; system integration; equipment trading and rental and manufacturing of cement, amongst others.
Since 2006, the Company has embarked on a strategic course of paring down its diversified portfolio of businesses and to focus exclusively on its strength and expertise in property development. The new focus has yielded very positive results both financially and in positioning the Group for the future.
On 1 April 2008, to mark the beginning of its new financial year and renewed focus, BOLTON launched a new corporate signature - the biggest change to its corporate look since the company started in 1964. It marks the beginning of a series of initiatives designed to return BOLTON to the premier league of property developers.
